Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 Square kilometers. It is located in Southwest Bolivia near the Crest of the Andes. After it rains the slat flat turns become huge mirrors. The salt flat contains over half of the world's lithium. It serves as a major transport system across Bolivia as well as the breeding ground for several species of pink flamingos. #1A
