Кузнецова”) porcelain and faience factory. “Society of M.S.Kuznetsov” porcelain and pottery products gained the fame for their impeccable fulfillment and luxurious decor. Significant part of Kuznetsov’s production was oriented on Asian countries and Islamic market with the aim to express aesthetic tastes of these regions with their bright colors, rhythms, motifs and vibrancy. Western ANATOLIA - ASIA MINOR Kutahya pair of old Ceramics. After IZNIK ceramic production slowed down at end of 17th century Kutahya followed the tradition in its own material using many similar classical designs and colors. Here we have pair of really nice 17th century design of square tiles. They survived in great condition with cobalt and light blue along with deep madder and some pistachio greens. Iznik-style ceramic mosque lamp in a bulbous shape and flaring neck with three handles in a form of stylized serpents. It is executed in cobalt blue, turquoise, red (bole), white painted, and glazed. ANATOLIA – BERGAMA KINIK glazed ceramic JAR. KINIK has been a pottery center since TROY – Gallipoli historical days. These types of pottery were made by folk artists for their own use and local markets. The “dripping” painting method used in this region. Artist paints it when it is spinning on the potter’s wheel and later on, drips water from top which moves down by opening a new line on painted parts.
