A hauntingly beautiful portrait of Selk´nam women, native Americans of Tierra del Fuego, Chile. This tribe of indigenous people were wiped out by genocide with settlement of their land by sheep ranches in the late 19th & early 20th centuries. The last Selk'nam tribe member died in 1974. #photography #portrait #myt
