Its depth is unknown to the locals who attribute supernatural powers to the red water. There are myths of mysterious disappearances and deaths of Aymara Indians who drank the water.
Termas Geometricas hot springs near Coñaripe, Chile. "These hot pools are as good as any I've ever been in. We went on a cold rainy day and it was mind blowing. Steam and mist everywhere. All of the pools are set in a rocky gorge. There seem to be about 10-15 pools of different temperatures, and two freezing cold waterfalls to quench yourself in." Dan G. on Trip Advisor
