Here’s a really common recipe that uses a 2:1 ratio of baking soda to cornstarch. We made around 140 mini stars. The trick to making this is to make that you stir constantly and do not overcook it. The clay can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container. These can be painted once they’re dry. This clay is also great for creating ornaments— my friend @my_plastic_free_home made some in past years that were lovely! Quick instructions are below and full tutorial is on the blog. Link in bio!
