“The soul, fortunately, has an interpreter - often an unconscious but still a faithful interpreter - in the eye.” ― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre
Mr. Rochester X St. John~~Jamie Bell though xx <3
Chapter 37: Jane goes to Ferndean. Inside, Jane carries a tray to Rochester. When he realizes that Jane is in the room with him, he thinks she must be a ghost. He takes her in his arms, and she promises never to leave him. The next morning Jane tells Rochester about her experiences. He asks her again to marry him, and she says yes. Rochester tells Jane that he called out her name and thought he heard her answer. She does not wish to upset him or excite, so she says nothing.
JANE EYRE--I LOVED this scene, purely because of Mia and Michael. Bravo to them both.
