· 4 servings STEPS TO FOLLOW: • Wash the dal with water and soak it for at least 3 to 4 hours. After soaking drain the dal of all the water and place it onto a clean kitchen cloth. Tie up the soaked moth dal in the cloth like a sack (Potli). • Dip this potli in water to make it wet completely. Now tie this sack around a tap or over a sink or any other place. Keep this cloth and the dal inside wet by pouring water over it every 4-5 hours. • Do this for 2 days and this will cause the dal to sprout. In case you are buying sprouted dal then simply use 3 cups of the sprouted dal for this recipe. • Once the dal sprouts, you can take it out of the cloth and place it in a fridge till you want to use it for this recipe.
