This listing is for one wooden needle. These wooden needles are carved by hand into an ergonomic shape that slides right through the yarn without snagging. After carving they are sanded very smooth and finished with a beeswax wood conditioner. (The photo of the needles in a hand are after carving but before sanding, to show size.) The needles are approximately 3.5 inches long, 3/8 inch wide at widest point, and 1/8 to 3/16 inch thick. The eye of the needle is between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch long. As a handcrafted item, there is variation in size, shape, and color/grain. If you need a different length of needle or a specific size or shape of eye, please send me a message and I will be happy to make a custom creation just for you! These needles were made with nålbinding in mind, however they can be used for other uses such as tapestry weaving, sewing of knitted or crocheted items, and probably many other things that I don't even know about! I do my best to keep these small items in stock for fast turnaround. But occasionally (or for custom orders) it will take additional time to make a fresh batch.
