This listing is for a vintage Red Wing Pottery bean pot. This little pot is from the Provincial Ware line and both the pot and the lid are marked #21. This bean pot comes from the 1940s. • Measures about 4” tall without lid (5 ¼” with); 4 ¾” diameter at base; about 6 ½” across at handles • Pot has a one quart (4 cup) capacity • Pot is designed with two handles- very easy to grip and hold • Outside of pot & inside of lid are unglazed bisque • Inside of pot & top of lid are glazed a rusty brown • Lid has a small knob type handle • One side is stamped/engraved, “Red Wing”, “Provincial Ware” & “21” • Good condition with the following noted: o ~ No chips or cracks but lid looks like it was nicked/chipped on edge before glazing o ~ Scattered air bubbles in glaze o ~ Outer edge on bottom of pot has blackened surface o ~ Bisque surface has scratches, stains & surface marks throughout In addition to being a great display piece, this little bean pot is sure to be a frequent visitor to your dining table.
