The LA Garment District
The LA Garment District was originally defined in1972 by the LA Times as being along Los Angeles Street from 3rd to 11th Street. The area was virtually unknown to most residents at the time. By 1982, the district had grown to a roughly 20 block area with about 500 retail outlets.
