Jim Tillett fabric is from 1947; used by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1947: picture shown ! This 1940s fabric was made into a full-circle skirt by a modern seamstress (vintagemimosa), who did an excellent job, using cotton canvas backing on the waistband and a metal zipper. 28" waist 28" long hem sweep: 178" colors: terracotta and black can be worn with the zipper on the side or the zipper in back. back and front are identical. no flaws other colorways of this fabric are in the collection of…
