Nobody Noticed Daniel Pickens (page 1 of 2) | Poetry classes, Pickens, Poems
"Nobody Noticed Daniel Pickens" page 1 by Gwen Haaland. This poem won an award in the most competitive "Previous Prize-Winners" category sponsored by Curbstone Press. The reason that my poems are original is because I never took a poetry class and never studied others poetry. These are my isolated impressions in a vacuum so to speak. This poem won in a "blind contest" where authors names were hidden during judging. Dr. Gwen became an "Accidental Poet."
