The Chelsea is a stunning industrial reclaimed dining table with a square box base. These reclaimed and rustic dining tables have been carefully handmade in our Devonshire workshop, using only the finest materials. The top of the dining table is extremely heavy and is near 2 inch thick reclaimed mature wood sourced from abandoned mills, churches, and industrial buildings right here in the UK. We have meticulously sanded and finished the rustic chunky antique wood, flaunting all of it's patina and charm, whilst leaving it smooth to the touch. Nail holes, scars, and dents have been revealed under a new light, which is impossible to reproduce in cheaply made, mass-produced furniture, especially dining tables. The extremely unique, robust and heavy base is made from box steel, giving a true statement shape and feel to the table. If you are looking for a dining table for your dining room or kitchen that screams iconic interior design, this is it. We also offer benches to match, these benches as standard sit on the outside of the legs, however, we can make the benches to fit underneath if you require. If you require your bench to fit underneath the table, the bench must be at least 20cm smaller than the table length (180cm table would need a 160cm bench or smaller). This must be requested at the checkout. Every dining table is handmade to order in our Devonshire workshop, which means we can alter the dimensions to fit your kitchen or dining room should you require. A matching rustic bench is also available (please see dimensions below). Each dining table or dining table and bench takes up to 5 days to make, and will be dispatched within 1 day of completion. Upon purchase, please kindly send a contact number at the checkout so that we can pass this onto the courier to arrange your delivery. This item is flat packed for manoeuvrability. The top, legs and centre bar are separate and will require a small amount of assembly. TO ASSEMBLE: Take the two legs, and place the centre bar in the middle. Line up the holes, insert the bolts and tighten. Then screw the table top to the base using the screws provided. It really is that simple :) Please note, the bars on the back of the table top are stabiliser bars, and these may need to be moved for your base to be attached - depending on your central bar length. We do not predrill holes on the back of the table top, the screws provided are self cutting so that you can install the base at any location you choose :) We currently offer two wood finishes - Antique Pine and Antique Oak. The Oak stain is darker, the pine is lighter. Table Dimensions We offer a variety of different sizes to suit your needs. Our standard sizes are below. Length : 100cm, 120cm, 140cm, 160cm 183cm, 200cm, 220cm, or 250cm Height : 77cm Depth : 66cm, 88cm or 110cm Bench Dimensions These are our standard bench sizes, however, we can also make this to any size you require. If you require your bench to fit underneath the table, the bench must be atleast 20cm smaller than the table length. Ie a 180cm table would need a 160cm bench or smaller. Length: 100cm - 220cm Width: 35cm Height: 45cm Condition Our pieces are full of charm and patina of a bygone era, they are irreplaceable and timeless in style, carrying with them a story. As our items are preloved, it is to be expected that you may find some nicks or dents to the woodwork, and by flaunting all of their flaws and imperfections, it only enhances their character and beauty. As our items are handmade to order, there may be slight variations to the photographs - the wood may be a slightly different colour, and grains and markings, locations of knots and scars will be different, welds may larger or smaller. Please be aware that we do not grind back our welds, as we feel this adds to the character of the item. We do not sand or finish the underside of our tables so that the wood can breathe, which means the wood will be in its raw state and rough to the touch.All of our pieces are quintessentially classical in design, and exhibit the almost lost art of detailed joinery and perfection that we no longer find in modern times. Our pieces are not only timeless and individual, but they are also the green option as for every piece that is restored, another tree is saved.
