As a dancer I’ve struggled specifically with hip mobility and flexibility in my hip flexors (AKA your psoas). For the past two years I’ve been stretching nightly in bed mostly because of restless leg syndrome, but also to improve my flexibility. Now I can actually do a pancake in a straddle, which is pretty remarkable. Eventually I’d like to add weight to the pancake and I’m hoping I can find a “before” picture to show my progress.
