Counting RTI {Numbers 1-20}

Do you have a student who is struggling with their numbers or with counting accurately? This is a packet of resources I created to help struggling early elementary students with counting, 1:1 correspondence, and number identification. I am happy to say that I know from experience that it works! You can use these to conduct small group RTI lessons. These materials can be used to complete the following activities: Build a Ten Frame: Cut and glue to put number chips 1-10 and 1-20 in order on the ten frame and/or double ten frame. Number Matching: Match the number and the ten frame cards. Number Order: Put numbers in order and count touching each one. Tip: For numbers 11-19, highlight the number in the ones place so students will be able to understand the pattern. Counting Bears: Place numbers of teddy bear counters in a basket with totals for each color in the range the student needs to practice. Students can use the numbered ten frame for support in making sure they are using 1:1 correspondence for counting activities. Number Book: Introduce 1-2 pages at a time (focus on one number a day from 10-20) and create a number book for the student. Begin each session by counting the numbers on each page.
