A (very) close up look at a 1967 blond Gregor doll by Frido. This face mould is what is known as a "no philtrum" variation, do to the lack of definition on the doll's upper lip. This is a quirk of the early Frido-Trendon moulds from the start of production in 1967 and 1968, and is rare and desirable by collectors of the work of Sasha Morgenthaler. It lends the doll a uniqueness akin to her early studio work in Switzerland.
