Ingredients:
• 400 gm mushrooms ( I’ve used a mix of cremini & button mushrooms but you can use any )
• 4 Cloves of Garlic
• 2 tsp Vegan Ouster Sauce
• 2 Tbsp Oil
• 3 Tbsp Soy sauce ( Light soy)
• 2 tsp maple syrup
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 2-3 Green onion & sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
• Scrub well & clean the mushrooms. Give them a quick blanch in hot water for 30 seconds and then transfer in cold water. Drain the excess water.
• Heat the oil in pan and add the mushrooms, cook till they turn slightly golden from outside.
• Throw in chopped garlic, green onions and sautés for few seconds. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, maple syrup salt and cook for 1-2 minutes.
• Pour in 1/4 cup of water mixed with 2 tsp of cornstarch and cook till the sauce thickens.
