When the new owners moved into this house, they found the kitchen to be a little bit sad. The colors were pretty, and everything was simple and clean, but the design of the kitchen was unimaginative, so they worked with a local interior designer to improve the layout and brighten up the space. But the most memorable part of the new kitchen happened almost by accident. Their designer, Tracey Stephens, was inspired by a broken plate that the owner discovered when unpacking.
