Plot part 5       Hazel learns that Augustus wanted Van Houten to write an eulogy about Hazel and Van Houten sends Hazel the pages. The novel concludes with her reading his words.  He says getting hurt in this world is inevitable, but we do get to chose who we allow to hurt us. He  is happy with his choice, and he hopes she likes her too. "I do" says Hazel.
