Rhaphitamnus spinosus | Found mainly in the subantartic forest of Chile and Argentina; in Chile grows from the province of Limary to province of Aisen. Inhabits the slopes  of both cordilleras, to an altitide of 950m; component of the matorral around lakes and lagoons, also in the more open part of the forest.
