Aerowing - we used these for dark-of-the-moon insertions. They were very quiet and could skim just above the ground if needed.  We could jump off, tuck and roll.   You would be amazed at how many platoons could be deployed in a matter of minutes.  We could even outflank the enemy by strategic partial deployments at three of their compass points.

Just look at some of the high-concept thinking going on here in some of his editorial work - it's amazing. Frank Tinsley is the honey badger of the 1950s science fiction editorial.
