It’s not one or the other.

We do know this, but we forget once we begin to move.

We focus so much on the movement that at times, our mind just has it as one more thing we must do, learn, perfect, over-analyze, obsess on.

Then it’s easy to become frustrated and miss the point of the exercise.

In this video I talk about qigong/tai chi principles such as:

🐢Move slowly
🔓Do not lock the joints
🌬️Coordinate the breath with the movements

When you are engaging the mind in this way, there is an enhanced focus which benefits cognitive function.
