Bean and seed mosaics are a staple craft in our household and there are so many different variations that can be made for each season and holiday. This is a great low-waste craft since you can recycle any cardboard that you already have as well as any dried beans, seeds or grains in your pantry.

Natalie on Instagram: "Air dry clay seed mosaics ✨ We needed a little something to spruce up the garden as it makes its transition into fall and these were just the thing ✨ For this you’ll need air dry clay, some old seeds and beans or remnants of whatever you have sitting around in your pantry (we used very old or expired dry goods). Roll out the clay with a rolling pin and cut out a circle with a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter. You’ll want it rather thick so it doesn’t break easily. Push beans and seeds down into the clay, let it dry for 3-4 days and THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART - give it a good spray on all sides with an acrylic sealer. I like the modge podge spray (it stinks so make sure you use it outside!).
