Lisa Noonis is a Maine-based painter known for her lively explorations of color, form, and space. Constantly pushing the boundaries of representation, Noonis captures the essence of objects, figures, and places with an ever-evolving, abstract style that embraces color, shape, and line. This is today's fun experiment! It's called "Marigolds-n-the Mist", a 16" x 20" acrylic and modeling paste on Art Board. This is another one of those new style 3-D paintings, done entirely with a palette knife and a big old vet syringe. It has at the least a quarter of an inch raised texture on it!
