The two exhibition floors in this elegant mansion are entirely dedicated to German and Austrian fine and decorative arts and celebrate illustrious artistic movements and artists of the early 20th century such as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, or Oskar Kokoschka. Located alongside the renowned Museum Mile, Neue Galerie New York is a beautifully restored Beaux Arts landmark building that includes 4,300 sq. ft. of exhibition space, a wood-paneled book and design store, and two Viennese cafés.

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement.
