This list ranks the greatest songs of the Heavy Metal period known as Glam. MTV is largely responsible for it's popularity via the 'Friday Night Video Fight' series. Van Halen, Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses are more hard rock than glam metal, to exclude them would paint an unbalanced picture.
