Jewel box

A fine rectangular box in mother-of-pearl and gilt bronze mounts finely chiselled with interlacing, oves and flowers resting on four curved foliated feet. Friezes with gilt bronze garlands decorate the four faces of the box. A small circular medallion with a miniature depicting a landscape in an ormolu frame adorn the top of the lid.
