We secured them to the wall using rawl plugs & screws & there’s much more in depth info about this on my pax wardrobe highlights. We then added a frame around the edges for the MDF to be secured to. First we built a base out of 6 x 2 timber, and then added an 18mm plinth out of MDF for the wardrobes to sit on! We have enough space for 3 double wardrobes and 1 single. Next steps in part 2 are to build the inside of the wardrobes, adding the draws and shelves, as well as adding the doors! Finally in part 3 using 18mm MDF to create filler panels for the built in look!
