Dark contrast photography

This image with a face painted half black and white represents what I'm going to show in my production, a character that metaphorically has a side to them that is light and dark, or in this case white and black. I think this will be an interesting way to represent a character as this, I feel like audiences normally expect characters to be good or bad and not change throughout, this addition of a mixed personality trait will make character that appears to very simple a lot more intricate.
