Recently Ly+Alan took a trip to Northern California to hang out with Ly's family and explore what Northern California has to offer. California Route 1 is quickly becoming one of my favorite roads of all time (the extraterrestrial highway in central nevada is up there as well, for completely different reasons). The stretch of 1 that winds it's way down the Big Sur Coastline is no exception and it's no wonder that it's frequently closed by landslides during the rainy season.
