Bladerunner concept art

Description I needed a rest from my usual Mooeti routine (deserts, temples, ancient stuff etc.). And since I'm a big fan of sci-fi and cyberpunk, it was an easy choice to go opposite from natural landscapes to the big city. From ancient to future. From warm to cool colors. And latest Blade Runner trailer... damn, it was good. So here it is. My tribute to everything from Akira through Matrix, GitS straight to Blade Runner. Last but not least my recent trip to Tokyo was a hudge inspiration…

A few of the concepts for the Vegas strip. I did a lot of work on the layout of Vegas area, trying to incorporate the existing buildings with the newer much larger structures. The Pyramid and some of the other larger buildings were Syd Mead designs that were integrated into the scene. Framestore Art Director : Martin Macrae
