Choosing your bandsaw In times past, a decade or two before I apprenticed in the 1960s, the only bandsaws really available in the UK at any rate were those developed for industry.

I once had a band saw tire come off of its wheel and get damaged by the blade. While I waited for the replacement to arrive, I came up with a temporary fix.

How can I fix a bandsaw tire with irregularities that bump the blade? I’m getting a lot of side-to-side movement with the blade. Truing the hard rubber tire that goes around the rim of each bandsaw…
