Seaming bias strips together with a tiny stitch length rather than a regular stitch length eliminates the need to backstitch which can often create bulky or wonky edges on your bias strips. Another favorite is to use tiny stitches in place of backstitching on fine, shifty, silky fabrics such as chiffon, organza, rayon, etc. This helps keep the bulky, potentially scrunchy, chewed-up seam ends at bay and achieves a smooth, flat, even seam when pressed! #GrainlineTipTuesday #GrainlineStudio ⁠
