I chose this photo in particular because I wanted the viewer to focus in on Mrs. Alberta King. Many times she's only known for being the mother of Dr. King but she was also a part of the NAACP and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. It was also her grandfather that was the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. King would later go on to pastor. If it had not been for this woman, that often times go over looked, Dr. King could not have become the man he was
