The turquoise tiara replica worn by Princess Francoise, second wife of Prince Christopher of Greece. The original was made in 1890 in Russia. Designed as a series of thirteen pear-shaped large turquoises, with similar, but slightly smaller spacers topped with diamonds. Each turquoise was surrounded by a diamond loop,  which interlinked with the next; and was raised on a open-work band of diamonds and turquoise buttons held within diamond scrolls.

The museum also serves as a memorial wherein the remains (samadhi) of Mahatma Gandhi’s wife, Kasturba Gandhi rest in peace. The palace was built in 1892 by Sultan Mohammed Shah, Aga Khan III.
