These little collages finally told me they wanted to be a stitch book, then distracted me until I turned them into pages. Now they each want a touch of stitching in the margins. This piece has some sparkly Essex as the “water”, so I pulled out some Glamore metallic thread from Wonderfil. It’s not the most cooperative thread, but good gracious it’s gorgeous. Totally worth a little bit more effort. I used Fruitti 12 weight cotton for the spiral stitches, also from Wonderfil. #handstitchin...
