Gianlorenzo Bernini's "Hermaphroditus", c. 1619, a full-size marble copy of a Greek marble of around year 200, at the request of Cardinal Borghese. The original work by Bernini, I have seen in the Louvre in Paris, France.

Detail of the Sleeping Hermaphrodite or Hermaphrodite Borghese. The statue is a Roman replica of a greek original of 150-140 BCE attributed to the school of Polykleitos. The mattress and pillow were added in the 17th century by Gianlorenzo Bernini and another baroque artist, commissioned by the powerful Cardinal Scipione Borghese Caffarelli, nephew of Pope Paul V.
