Ephesus, Turkey - was an ancient Greek city, and later a major Roman city, on the coast of Ionia, near present-day Selçuk, Izmir Province, Turkey. he city was famed for the Temple of Artemis (completed around 550 BC), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In 268 AD, the Temple was destroyed or damaged in a raid by the Goths.
The Rubenskasteel (Castle of Rubens), also known as Het Steen (The Rock) is situated on the former Flemish Brabant commune of Elewijt, now part of Zemst. Peter Paul Rubens lived there from 1635 till his death in 1640.
