Elementary is a story about an ex drug addict who happens to be English , but he is currently living in NY . He likes to pretend he is a detective, but he thinks not everything can be deduced and he sometimes hates to be right (his own words from the pilot). He goes around with a woman, who has been paid by the guy´s father, so he doesn´t go into drugs again...so sorry mates, but that is not Sherlock
